Meet Dr. West
Dr. Jerad L. West received his D.D.S. degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2005, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He then went on to complete his orthodontic residency at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he received his specialty certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. West is board certified and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, as well as the American Dental Association. He is also an alumnus of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he did his undergraduate work.Dr. West has known that he wanted to be an orthodontist since the age of 15, when he was inspired by his own orthodontist in Southern California, where he grew up. He knew then, as he knows now, the importance of a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile. Each day he looks forward to seeing the new changes in smiles that he is creating, and he gets great satisfaction from the happiness he sees in his patients with their completed treatment. In his spare time, Dr. West plays on a local softball team and enjoys golfing and skiing, as well as spending time with his wife, Saira. They became Truckee residents in the summer of 2007, and love the active lifestyle and the small town community feel that the area offers. |
